Do you want to know the balance of your PF account? Here’s how you can do it without UAN

New Delhi | Jagran Business Office: Offering enormous relief to a salaried class, the Employee Provident Fund Organization (EPFO) had started crediting 8.5 percent interest to nearly six crore policyholders.

EPF subscribers can check and withdraw their account balance with the universal account number (UAN). However, there are many cases where the UAN is not available. In such cases, subscribers need to worry as they can still check and withdraw their account balance by following the steps mentioned below:
Step 1) Visit the EPFO ââwebsite at epfindia.gov.in.
Step 2) Now you have to click on the option âClick here to find out your EPF balanceâ.
Step 3) You will now be redirected to epfoservices.in/epfo.
Step 4) After that, click on the âMember Balance Informationâ tab.
Step 5) Here you will need to select your state, click on your EPFO ââdesktop link.
Step 6) Now you need to enter your PF account number, name and registered cell phone number.
Step 7) Click on submit to verify the PF amount.
How to check the amount of PF by missed call and SMS service?
To check your PF balance via a missed call, you must call 011-22901406 from your registered mobile number. You can also check the amount of your PF by sending an SMS – EPFOHO UAN – to 7738299899 from your registered mobile number.
Here we would like to mention that this facility is available in English, Hindi, Punjabi, Gujarati, Marathi, Kannada, Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam and Bengali.
To check your PF balance in the above languages, you will need to write the first three characters of the preferred language after inserting the UAN in the SMS. For example, EPFOHO UAN HIN.
